You were probably not aware how many Top 40 songs that you listen to have references to the Bible or to Jesus, but there are many and some you just don't think about thought they are right in your face. Here are a handful you are most likely familiar with and I'll give you the background and how they came about and a few other tid bits as well. Enjoy!

You seemed to like my previous instrumental podcasts so here is another. Most of these come from the 1960's and all are classics. Some are foreign in nature and some composers are as well, but I'm sure you will recognize at least one or more. Maybe from an elevator. So relax, grab an iced tea (sweet is best, or a Long Island if you prefer) and enjoy.

There are so many songs that mention cities, towns or states in them when telling a story and I'll bet for the most part you don't pay much attention to those mentions. Well I'm going to point them out and tell the story. So sit back, have a coffe or cappucchino and enjoy this podcast.
